Submissions

We’re always looking for new voices and fresh perspectives. Explore our imprints below to learn what we’re currently seeking.

Little Vine logo

Little Vine publishes beautifully illustrated picture books for children ages 0–8 that encourage curiosity, kindness, and confidence to bloom. Because illustration is such an integral part of picture book storytelling, we primarily acquire projects from author-illustrator teams or creators who both write and illustrate their own books.

When submitting a picture book project, please send a single PDF that presents the story with text and sample artwork shown together on each spread.

Send your submission to jamie@trellispress.com.

Text-only submissions
If you’ve written a manuscript but do not yet have an illustrator, you’re welcome to submit it. While we rarely acquire text-only projects, we will reach out if we believe there’s a strong opportunity to develop it further.

Illustration portfolios
If you’re an illustrator seeking future collaborations, please send a link to your online portfolio.

Please note submissions to Little Vine are currently closed and will reopen April 5, 2027.

Offshoot logo

Offshoot celebrates visual storytelling through photography, illustration, art, design, graphic nonfiction, and other visually driven books.

We’re looking for visually compelling, idea-driven nonfiction that invites readers to disrupt, inspire, and shift perspectives.

Please note that we do not publish adult fiction.

A proposal should include:

  • An overview of the project
  • Author biography or CV
  • Proposed table of contents
  • Comparable titles
  • Sample visuals or design concepts

fieldwork logo

Fieldwork publishes practical, inspiring books that help change makers learn, lead, and make a lasting impact. We welcome proposals from mission-driven professionals whose work builds stronger communities. As the publishing partner of the American Camp Association, we’re especially interested in books that advance the camp profession and strengthen youth development.

Whether your idea is fully developed or just beginning to take shape, we’d love to hear from you. Email us at jamie@trellispress.com.
